The Business Office is responsible for the fiscal, budget, and operational functions of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District.

The staff works collaboratively with other departments, administrators, and teachers to ensure the successful design, implementation, and monitoring of all facets of teaching and learning as well as new or existing initiatives. This office oversees:

Our school district is in very close communication with the our school physician, the Hamilton and Wenham Boards of Health, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), and the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in regard to seasonal and H1N1 flu.
We are carefully following all advisories and guidelines issued by authorities. We are also stressing preventative measures with all students and staff. Please see government sites for more information about prevention. We encourage you to contact your child’s school nurse if you have questions or concerns (see phone listing below).

The Human Resource department is a specialty that involves relations with employees and how an organization handles them. The goal of a Human Resource Representative is to foster a collaborative environment, connect with colleagues and bridge any gaps through sharing meaningful information. A forward thinking human resource department is devoted to providing effective policies, procedures, and people friendly support within the orgainzation, ensuring the best-interests of all are met and success is optimized.

Records will generally be provided in electronic format within 10 business days barring an exception. In this case the Records Access Officer will contact the requestor with an explanation for the delay and a good faith estimate of any fees that may be charged for the production of the records and a reasonable time frame for when the records will be provided, which generally will not exceed 25 business days from the initial request.
Student Services Department oversees Special Education and Counseling in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12, English Language Learners (ELL), Section 504, Early Education & Care Grant, Home and Hospital Tutoring. The goal of the Student Services Office is to provide each student with the necessary strategies, skills, and support to function as independent and contributing members of the school and community.
Questions regarding a student's education services should be directed to the appropriate Special Education Coordinator, the Principal of the student's school or the Student Services office.
