FREE School Lunch & Breakfast
Jennifer Caufield

GREAT NEWS!! Hamilton Wenham School District will continue to serve breakfast and lunch free of charge to all students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Free and reduced meal benefits can be applied for at any time during the school year. Applications are available on the HWRSD Nutrition webpage or by contacting the Food Service office at 978-468-0398.

Q: If meals are free this school year, why do I need to fill out an application?

Filling out an application helps newly eligible children receive P-EBT funds. You may be eligible to reduce or waive academic and athletic fees, too.

Q: If meals are free this school year, why do we still need to use MySchoolBucks?

If your child would like to purchase snacks or assorted drinks -- they will need funds in their accounts. If your child brings lunch from home but would like to purchase a drink such as milk or juice, there is an additional cost.

More information about the HWRSD Nutrition Services Department can be found here.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School proudly celebrated Scholarship Night on May 20th, recognizing members of the Class of 2026 for their outstanding achievements, dedication, and commitment to excellence and service. Students were honored with scholarships presented by a wide range of local businesses, community organizations, memorial foundations, clubs, and civic groups whose generosity helps support the next chapter of our students’ journeys.

The evening highlighted not only academic success, but also leadership, service, perseverance, athletics, the arts, and community involvement. Being selected for these scholarships is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the hard work, character, and determination demonstrated by our students throughout their high school careers. The Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School community welcomed families, faculty, and community members to the 2026 Senior Symposium on May 13th, an annual showcase celebrating the academic research and internship experiences of the senior class. Ninety-four seniors presented the culmination of their second-semester work, sharing research projects developed through extensive literature reviews and real-world internship experiences across the North Shore.

Throughout the high school library and cafeteria, students presented on a wide range of topics and reflected on experiences that strengthened their critical thinking, research, writing, communication, and professional skills. The Symposium highlighted not only the depth of student scholarship, but also the meaningful ways students are connecting classroom learning to future college and career pathways.
