HWRHS Student standing on the steps of New England BioLabs campus for a field trip
Jennifer Caufield

HWRHS AP Biology class took learning beyond the classroom with a visit to New England BioLabs. Students got a look at how science is actually applied in the real world. This includes research and product development, as well as the behind-the-scenes work that makes it all possible.

They also heard from staff across a range of roles, learning about different pathways in science, including research, marketing, internships, and more. It was a great opportunity to see how what we study connects to real careers and real impact.
