Destruction of Student Special Education Records Notice for Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District
Graduating Classes of 2008, 2009 & 2010
In accordance with applicable state and federal regulations, the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District hereby notifies graduates of 2008, 2009 and 2010 of its intent to destroy student special education records within ninety (90) days of the date of this Notice. State regulations require that former students be given an opportunity to obtain their records prior to destruction. Requests for special education records must be submitted to the Student Services Office, 5 School Street, Wenham, MA 01984 within the next thirty (30) days or call (978)468-5303 between the hours of 8:00a and 4:00p.
Student transcripts will be maintained by the District for at least sixty (60) years following a student’s graduation, transfer or withdrawal from the District.
