PURCHASING AUTHORITY 

Authority for the purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, and services is extended to the Superintendent through DESE function classification appropriation as part of the District budget process. 

The purchase of items and services within the DESE function classification appropriations requires no further Committee approval except when by law or by Committee policy.
