Can we change the Educational Plan to make renovation of our existing schools possible with MSBA funding next year?

Watch Eric Tracy answer the question HERE, begins at the 17:57 minute-mark.

The Educational Plan was developed by community members, teachers, parents, staff, and students based on current and projected needs for 21st-century teaching and learning, while also meeting the needs of our students with disabilities. Downgrading the plan or changing it at this point would also forfeit the MSBA funding. Downgrading to force-fit existing buildings would also compromise educational quality and still require extensive and expensive upgrades that the MSBA may not support. When renovating a public school building, if the cost of the renovation equals or exceeds a certain amount of the building's assessed value, it triggers a requirement to bring the entire structure into compliance with the state's accessibility regulations and all fire codes, including installing sprinklers.
