Tom Geary showed the Gale graphic, Showed the two different permit requirements. Blue going in front of Hamilton Con Com January 25, 2023. Red outlined already permitted in 2017. Two extensions since that time. ADA accessibility is a current question of scope.
M. Novak Lighting for the fields? Main field only? - Lighting is broken out by segment, ie: filed, tennis court
75% drawings are done.
Shock pad in estimate? No.
Tom: Board of health discussion was related to the infill material, crumb rubber. Shock pad would be required for other infills, not crumb rubber.

The group reviewed the current pricing doc.

It was the groups opinion that we hire and OPM. OPM must not be Gale…bid asap…Civil cost? 3-3.5%
As an example what % of Cutler is PM? Tom G believes 3.5% We will need to odetermine the level of contact for OPM? Controlling bid periods, manages contractors, review site contractors.
Vote to hire OPM: Unanimous
Friday proposal for schematic design for amenities building coming from Gale. Tom G will forward to the members of the group.
Request for services…draft for next meeting? Tom Has started on and will bring to next meeting.
Tim will take a look at aligning the pricing so that all aspects f the project are included.
What about on field sound… need to request from Gale.

1.Overall Cost Review:
TG opened discussion of overall cost.
Tim (Matt’s narrative) reviewed the overall cost estimate of the project. See notes. Added items too the list the committee discussed last meeting.

JC asks difference between OPM and Engineer Are they different? Novack - Yes
Infills? SL - Rubber better performance and natural infills break down quickly Infill holds the blades of grass up but the shockpad is to absorb…GMAX rating.
Existing order of conditions for track, stadium fields and multi field TG - Jan 31, 2023 - meeting for second segment of the project. Site walk has not been scheduled with con com.
MN -do we need two batting cages? Difference between the bullpen and batting cage vs just batting cage on softball. Are they in the Gale estimate. Check FAQ 13 Million. Septic for amenities building? Tom is working on it now with Wesson and Sampson
2. Project Rendering: JC -did they figure out the discus change that CG wanted. How big is amenities building? Not sure yet. How about the storage? -TG has it.
BM -Scoreboard able to be changed to other side of field? TG -may be an opportunity to use contingency around the property for future electrical/dat needs.
Irrigation? Tim -Loose landscaping allowance. -What about irrigation? Location for the future expansion.
Tennis courts? Can we put in 5? Wont fit -Wetlands

3. OPM Scope Review:
TG reviews Engineering Services Contract -Ceiling $250,000 for the entire project. Also we can explore Clerk of the Works -May be a cheaper approach *MN does this include erosion control monitoring -must be a professional
Since last month the individual requires a certain license. Everyone review for next meeting. Do othey provide a cost breakdown? TG has the rates. This is a time to get bids for next year? Need to move up permitting and bids to summer.
