About

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District offers an excellent education to approximately 1,684 students in preschool through grade 12. The district is home to a High School for grades 9-12, a middle school for grades 6-8, and three elementary schools for students in preschool through Grade 5. The Mission of the HWRSD:

Together we inspire continuous learning in order to lead a purposeful life

The towns of Hamilton and Wenham are located just 22 miles north of Boston on the North Shore of Massachusetts and provide easy access to the Atlantic seashore with its reservations, beaches, and boating just miles away. Both towns have retained unique historic small-town character with miles of rural scenery with extensive open space, farmlands, lakes, and woodlands. Hamilton and Wenham share the school system, library, recreation department, and commuter rail station.

HW Girls Tennis Win 3rd MIAA D4 State Title!

Hamilton-Wenham Girls Tennis (19-2) defeated Lynnfield this past weekend at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's DuPont Courts, 5-0 in the finals of the MIAA Division IV State Tournament.  With the win, the Generals secured their third straight State Title and became the first team in school history to reach that accomplishment.

HW was dominant in their State Tournament run.  The Generals dropped just one set (in a forced tie-breaking super set after the match was already decided) in the two weeks including wins over Hampden Charter, Millis, Sutton, Hopedale, and finally Lynnfield.  The win caps an incredible 64-3 run over the three years.

After the match, the Generals were greeted at the town lines of Wenham and Hamilton with a police escort back to school.  Congratulations to each member of the team.  The Girls Tennis program is a true embodiment of what T-E-A-M is all about!  Good luck to the incredible Seniors who were such a huge force behind the General's success over the last three years.
