About
The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District offers an excellent education to approximately 1,684 students in preschool through grade 12. The district is home to a High School for grades 9-12, a middle school for grades 6-8, and three elementary schools for students in preschool through Grade 5. The Mission of the HWRSD:
Together we inspire continuous learning in order to lead a purposeful life
The towns of Hamilton and Wenham are located just 22 miles north of Boston on the North Shore of Massachusetts and provide easy access to the Atlantic seashore with its reservations, beaches, and boating just miles away. Both towns have retained unique historic small-town character with miles of rural scenery with extensive open space, farmlands, lakes, and woodlands. Hamilton and Wenham share the school system, library, recreation department, and commuter rail station.

HW Boys and Girls Cross Country have earned the right to be called Division III-B Champions this weekend at Northfield Mountain. The Girls' team finished the race by going 1-2-3 and Grace Rich won the race outright. Not to be outdone, the Boys placed four runners in the top 15 to seal their first division title since 2014 (when, ironically, both Boys and Girls won the Division Championship in the same year). Both teams will compete in the All-State Championships on Saturday, November 18th at Fort Devens at 11:00 AM.
Congratulations to our five HWRSD faculty & staff who ran in the Spartan Race at Fenway this past weekend: Tom Geary, Kathy Mikulski, Chontelle Clark, Jennifer Sperry, and David Veling. This year, Fenway is part of the Spartan Honor Series schedule. Individuals will race “alongside military heroes who overcome obstacles every day in an effort to serve and protect our country.” #generalspride
