About
The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District offers an excellent education to approximately 1,684 students in preschool through grade 12. The district is home to a High School for grades 9-12, a middle school for grades 6-8, and three elementary schools for students in preschool through Grade 5. The Mission of the HWRSD is to educate the children to become young adults who are of good character and demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and skills needed to be successful members of our global economy and engaged citizens of the 21st Century.
The towns of Hamilton and Wenham are located just 22 miles north of Boston on the North Shore of Massachusetts and provide easy access to the Atlantic seashore with its reservations, beaches, and boating just miles away. Both towns have retained unique historic small-town character with miles of rural scenery with extensive open space, farmlands, lakes, and woodlands. Hamilton and Wenham share the school system, library, recreation department, and commuter rail station.
