Don has been resident of Wenham since 1978 and is married 40 years to Doris, a Library/Media director at Swampscott High School. Don has a BA in Administration from Merrimack College. He has four children: Debra, who is 36 years old, attended Mt. Holyoke College and is a Developer and Product Manager of medical research equipment; Derek, 34 years old, a Wesleyan University (CT) and Life West Chiropractic College graduate who recently relocated to be a Chiropractor in Australia; Darlene, 31 years old who attended Connecticut College and MIT Graduate School and is now a County Planner in the Philadelphia area; and Darren, 23 years old, graduated Brandeis University and currently at NYU Graduate School enrolled in Higher Education Administration.

The School Committee's senior member, Don has served for 18 years, 3 of which were as Chair. His major emphasis has been in Finance, Faciliites, and Negotiations sub-committees.In the past, has also served as a member of Space Needs, Site Search and Building Committee for the new Middle School and High School renovations. In addition, he has been a member of the Building Committee for additions at Buker, Cutler and Winthrop Schools.

Don has also formerly served our community as Assessor for the Town of Wenham and a 9 year member of the St. Paul Parish Council. His interests include all sports, landscaping, traveling and community service.
