Friends of the High School

GOALS OF THE ORGANIZATION

to provide scholarships to seniors

to add to the high school technology program.

Every family at the high school is automatically a member of the Friends and is encouraged to attend monthly meetings and get involved.

NEXT MEETING

Friends' meeting: Friends meeting has been changed from May 12th to May 13th unless the Town Meeting runs over and then we will change it again.

It is Teacher Appreciation Week May 5-9 so the Friends encourage you to give your child's teacher an extra thanks for all they do.

FUNDRAISERS

Our latest fundraiser was the Coffee Cake Sale which ended Monday, April 14th. Coffee Cake order pick-up will be Wednesday. May 7th from 1:30-3:00 in the High School Lobby. If you placed an order please come at that time or arrange for someone to pick up for you.

OUR ENDEAVORS

Our biggest fundraiser is the phonebook which we encourage parents to support because it not only provides an important service but helps the entire school community. We had a great response at the freshman orientation night and we are off to a great start with the phonebook projects and thefamilies that want their names added to the email list to be informed about meetings and events.

Thanks to all of you who participated in the phonebook fundraiser by buying phonebooks. Also thanks to all of you that gave toward scholarships and dues. Your generousity is so appreciated and will have a large impact on our students and staff at the Regional.

OUR SUCCESSES

Last year, through fundraisers and parents donations we were able to provide $2000 in scholarships and $9000 toward the technology program.
